Parking fine could be rescinded by council

A TAMWORTH family looking to get a parking ticket rescinded have received some good news as the borough council could look again at the extenuating circumstances of the case.
Last week the Herald reported that Barry Dangerfield had picked up a parking fine after not displaying his permit when parked outside his parents' home at Townshend House.
He said that he forgot to place the permit in his car due to him rushing to his 94-year-old mother's aid after his 91-year-old father had been taken to hospital and he called on the authority to have more compassion.
