'Parking adds to stress of visits to Derby hospital' - reader's letter
 

THE Derby Telegraph receives lots of letters each week on issues affecting Derby and Derbyshire, as well as further afield. This one talks about car parking problems at the Royal Derby Hospital.
I recently had to take my wife to the Royal Derby Hospital. We arrived at noon for a 1pm appointment, we waited more than 30 minutes trying to get into car park 6, the only one with any vacancies.
The appointment was in the main building, which took us 15 minutes to walk to and find the right department.The consultation took over an hour and three minutes, so I had to pay over £3 parking fee.
