Parents defend 'inadequate' Derby school placed in special measure
 

Parents of pupils at an "inadequate" Derby primary school which has been placed in special measures have been swift to defend it.
Government inspectors decided that Landau Forte Academy Moorhead was failing to give its pupils an acceptable standard of education.
It was handed an "inadequate" rating and the announcement came just days after the adjacent secondary school, Merrill Academy, for which it is a feeder school, was also placed in special measures.
Inspectors visited Landau Forte Academy Moorhead in June but the report was not published until recently.
