Paramedic fights tears in court as she describes battle to save 'murdered' toddler



A paramedic fought back tears in court as she described the futile battle to save a toddler allegedly murdered by his mother’s boyfriend.
A jury was told two-year-old Teddy Tilston died after allegedly suffering “extreme violence” at the hands of Craig Smith, 28, at the family home in Woodville Road, Birkenhead, on March 1 this year.
While Teddy was dying his twin sister, Cassidy, was being treated in hospital for a head injury which prosecution lawyers claim also resulted from an assault by Smith.
