Paralysed biker reveals Great North Run dream as he heads to Thailand for treatment



A man determined to walk again after he was paralysed in a motorbike crash is set to take the next step in his journey.
Andrew Bell will travel to Thailand for months of intensive physiotherapy after friends and family rallied to fundraise for the treatment.
Andrew underwent pioneering stem cell treatment last year, just months after he was paralysed in motorbike crash near Chester-le-Street.
Despite being told that he would never walk again, Andrew, of Pity Me, can now take steps using a walking frame at home thanks to pioneering surgery.
