Paralympic hero Ian Marsden returns to Royal Stoke University Hospital to show off bronze medal



PARALYMPIC hero Ian Marsden was back in hospital – to show off his medal to the staff who set him on the road to recovery.
The 44-year-old smashed his personal best to win bronze in the K1 200m paracanoe in Rio.
And he returned to the Royal Stoke University Hospital ward 228 where he has undergone many procedures to help his mobility after being diagnosed with a rare motor neurone-type condition.
