Paralympian Simon Lawson goes back to school



Maryport's Paralympic hero Simon Lawson returned to his old school to share his experiences of the Rio games this summer.
The 34-year-old wheelchair racer was welcomed by pupils and staff at Maryport Junior School for an assembly which was also attended by pupils of nearby Maryport Infant School.
Simon talked about the Paralympic Games where he raced in the men's T54 marathon.
He also held a question and answer session with pupils and showed them his racing chair.
