Page explains O’Toole omission and formation switch for Posh clash



Cobblers boss Rob Page has explained his reasoning behind leaving John-Joe O’Toole out of the team to face Peterborough United on Tuesday evening.
Page stirred much debate by dropping O’Toole and switching to 3-5-2 for the visit to rivals Peterborough but his decision backfired as the Cobblers slumped to a heavy 3-0 defeat.
Joel Byrom came in as the only recognised central midfielder with Paul Anderson and Sam Hoskins playing in more advanced roles while Marc Richards partnered Alex Revell up front.
