Ox snub stunned Wenger: Arsenal boss didn't hold back in meeting over Liverpool - Ornstein
 

That is according to BBC Sport journalist David Ornstein.
The Gunners boss failed to convince the 24-year-old to sign a contract extension on improved terms.
Oxlade-Chamberlain was offered a hefty pay rise up to £180,000 a week, but chose to go instead.
Liverpool and Chelsea chased him but Anfield was his preferred destination.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are paying Oxlade-Chamberlain £120,000 a week although intend to play him in his desired central midfield role.
This summer saw the England international end his six-year stay at the Emirates, much to the frustration of Wenger.
