Overturned lorry blocking both lanes of the A68 near Corbridge



The A68 in Northumberland has been shut by police after a lorry overturned just north of Corbridge.
Police and paramedics are still at the scene, near the Stagshaw Roundabout and the Errington Arms pub.
A Northumbria Police spokeswoman said: “Police were called to the A68 near the Stagshaw Roundabout area.
“A lorry has overturned and the road is currently closed in both directions.”
Motorists are being diverted via the B6318 and the A6079.
