'Outrageous' Mick McCarthy offers typically blunt response to Wolves spending spree



Former Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Mick McCarthy has blasted his former club's spending spree this summer.
McCarthy, now in charge of Championship rivals Ipswich Town, said it was "outrageous".
He added: "Wolves spent £15m on a holding midfield player for heaven’s sake - they already have a £13m winger.
“I am not complaining but I just don’t know how it can be sustained.
“I think it is outrageous, but don’t get me wrong if I had it, I would spend it.”
