Outpouring of love from ECHO readers over Pat Brown's final touching gift
 

ECHO readers have reacted to New Brighton ‘jewel’ Pat Brown’s final wish to leave her entire estate to charity.
The 72-year-old, who lived on Belmont Road with her much loved dog Jet, died on Friday July 21, after a short illness.
In her will the animal lover, who also kept cockatiels, rabbits, guinea pigs and cats, left her entire estate including her house to be split between four charities; RNLI New Brighton Lifeboat Station; Heswall District Animal Welfare Society; People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals, and Cancer Research.
Her family said the bequest was ‘typical Pat’.
