One year after SSI, and bids for all EIGHT schemes in Redcar are rejected by Government
 

Redcar Development Trust A funding blow won’t be the final curtain for a Redcar theatre plan, the man behind the scheme has vowed.
Frankie Wales made the pledge after news an application for Coastal Communities Fund cash has been rejected - one of EIGHT Redcar bids to draw a blank.
The Gazette told in July how the Redcar Development Trust - chaired by Mr Wales - wants to develop the Coatham Memorial Hall to include a theatre, coffee shop and micropub.
