One of the UK's most congested roads outside of London is here in the North East - but which is it?
 

A six-mile section of the A1 is one of the most congested roads in the whole of the UK – with drivers losing almost an entire day stuck in traffic there every year.
The A1 from Washington Services to Lobley Hill in Gateshead has an average speed of just 28mph during peak hours, according to data released in a new report pinpointing commuter blackspots.
Unsurprisingly, the worst time to be on the road - the fourth worst for bumper to bumper traffic outside of London - is at 5pm on a Friday when the average speed plummets to an average of 18mph.
