One of Teesside's 'most wanted' facing justice after 19 years on the run
 

A wanted man who went on the run 19 years ago is finally facing sentence for drugs offending.
Trevor Bowman, 49, skipped bail and vanished for years after he pleaded guilty to being concerned in the production of cannabis in 1997.
Now the former fugitive is in custody waiting to learn his fate after he was arrested in Wales on suspicion of similar offences, a court heard.
Once described as one of “Teesside’s most wanted”, he was first arrested and charged by Durham Police in 1996 in Sedgefield over the drugs supply allegation.
