One-legged Derbyshire war hero told 'you're not disabled enough'
 

A Derbyshire war hero who lost a leg after his vehicle hit a bomb had his benefits cut because he could walk 400 metres "on a good day".
Aron Shelton, who lives with his wife Callan and daughter Macie in Ripley, managed to get the ruling overturned with the help of the Royal British Legion - and is now giving back to the charity that helped him.
Mr Shelton, 32, held the rank of private in the 2nd Battalion the Mercian Regiment and was in Afghanistan in 2007 when the vehicle in which he and his comrades were travelling hit a roadside bomb.
