One in SIX British parents have LOST their child on holiday
 

A recent study has revealed one in six British parents are guilty of losing sight of their child while abroad. 
The alarming figure came from a total of 2,186 parents with at least one child between 3 and 10 years old. 
On average, the length of time their child went missing was four minutes. 
Even more worryingly, the most common location for children to wander off was at the swimming pool. 
Almost a quarter (24 per cent) of participants had lost their child in this less-than-safe spot, while one in five had lost them at the beach.
