One headteacher resigns and another is suspended amid probe into two Liverpool schools
 

A Liverpool headteacher was suspended and another has resigned as education chiefs carry out a probe into how their schools were being run.
Gill Rogerson, headteacher of Garston CE Primary School, one of Liverpool’s oldest schools, has been suspended.
And David McBride, the executive headteacher in charge of Garston and its sister school, Bishop Martin CE Primary School in Woolton, has resigned from his post.
