Olympic gold medallist Adam Peaty cheered on as he makes open-top bus tour of hometown
 

Olympic hero Adam Peaty has been embarking on an open-top bus tour around his hometown to celebrate his gold medal success at the Rio Olympics.
The 21-year-old, who trained in Derby and is from Uttoxeter, made British Olympic history when he won the 100m breastroke - Team GB's first swimming medal for more than 30 years. Adam also scooped a silver medal in the 4x100m medley relay in Rio, helping Team GB to second place in the overall medals table and cementing his place in British sporting history in the process.
