Oil leak shuts down Clair platform near Shetland
 

An investigation has been launched after an oil platform off Shetland leaked an unknown amount of crude oil into the sea.
BP said oil from its Clair platform spilled into the sea on Sunday morning. The size of the leak is still being investigated.
A BP spokesman said: "BP can confirm that a technical issue was reported on its Clair platform at approximately 10am on Sunday which resulted in a release of a quantity of oil to sea.
