Their cute and calm demeanour attract thousands of tourists from around the world to Japan's famous Nara Park.
But park authorities are facing a growing number of reported bite injuries to visitors from the deer that roam freely around the park.
The picturesque park in Japan's ancient capital of Kyoto is home to more than 1,000 deer, with some even roaming in the streets in search of special crackers that are fed to them by tourists.
But with some tourists not used to the animals, many are finding themselves surrounded by aggressive deer when trying to feed them.
