OH DEER! Firefighters come to the rescue of stranded animals

Lincolnshire fire crews have had a busy Sunday morning as two deer managed to get themselves stuck in two separate incidents.
At 7.23am this morning, firefighters from Lincoln South attended a call where a deer had got trapped in railings in Church Hill, Washingborough. They managed to free the animal and released it back to the wild.
And just a few minutes later, Boston crews attended a similar call. This time a deer had got stuck in-between fence panels on St Bedes Drive, Boston.
"Small tools" were employed to rescue the stranded animal before it was released back to the wild.... read more
