Officers 'investigate circumstances' surrounding train and car crash



OFFICERS have said they are 'investigating the circumstances' surrounding a train and car crash that this morning (Monday, October 3).
The British Transport Police were called to a rail crossing at Barrow Haven, Barrow upon Humber, at around 7.15am following reports that a train had struck a car.
In a statement, they said: "The train involved, the 6.58am Barrow upon Humber to Grimsby passenger service, was travelling very slowly at the time of impact. No –one was injured and only minor damage was caused to the train and car.
