AN OAP has been banned from driving after taking to the road on his mobility scooter while over the drink drive limit.
But Joe Harvey is still able to drive his electric scooter - as the ban doesn’t apply to his disability vehicle.
Joe, who briefly found fame as a member of Sixties pop group Hedgehoppers Anonymous, was back on the road again yesterday despite pleading guilty to drink driving.
His old band had a No5 hit with It’s Good News Week in 1965.
