OAP stunned as burglars smash their way into hotel room at the Adelphi
 

Burglars smashed a door down before stealing from a stunned 85-year-old lady who was staying at the Adelphi Hotel.
The thugs forced their way into the a room at the 3 star Brittania hotel, on Ranelagh Street, in the early hours of Tuesday morning, ripping the door jamb from its frame.
They made off with the lady’s hearing aid and bus and rail passes, as well as her iPad, leaving the pensioner struggling to hear for the rest of her Merseyside trip.
