OAP slashed with knife on own doorstep in terrifying robbery

A pensioner was subjected to a terrifying robbery when he was threatened with a knife on his own doorstep.
The incident happened in St Peters Road, Netherton, when a man knocked on the 70-year-old victim's door.
He asked for cash to take his dog to the vets − but when the sob story failed the unwanted caller pulled out a knife and pushed it under the man's chin.
He suffered a two-inch cut − an injury that required hospital treatment − as he was shoved backwards into the hallway and threatened to hand over money.
