Nurse takes on gruelling run in aid of liver charity
 

A nurse whose daughter was diagnosed with a rare liver disease will take part in the gruelling Great Birmingham Run in aid of a city-based charity.
Katerina Pegg, from Marston Green, discovered her daughter Daisy was suffering from the rare condition which meant she was jaundiced and not gaining weight at just five weeks old.
Tests confirmed she had Alpha 1 Anti-trypsin deficiency, a genetic condition which affects the liver in children and lungs in adults.
