Number of Notts supermarkets selling 24 hour-alcohol has doubled
 

The number of supermarkets licensed to sell booze around-the-clock has more than doubled in Nottinghamshire in just eight years.
New government data shows the county now has 44 stores with 24-hour alcohol licences - compared to 20 in 2008.
In Nottingham itself, numbers have risen from nine to 19. Broxtowe is up from three to seven, Bassetlaw from zero to five, and Mansfield from three to five.
