Number of children calling Nottingham Childline after watching adult porn has doubled

The number of children contacting Childline's base in Nottingham after watching adult porn online has doubled during the last year.
The round-the-clock helpline spoke to 68 young people last year, up from 34 in 2014/15. For the second year running, more than half the children who contacted the centre were between 12 and 15, but seven of those contacts were aged 11 or under.
Many of the youngsters who contacted Childline, which is run by children's charity NSPCC, said they felt ashamed, guilty or addicted after watching online porn.
