NSPCC to shut Middlesbrough centre by end of week - with loss of eight jobs
 

The NSPCC is to close its Middlesbrough centre by the end of the week, with the loss of eight jobs.
But the national children’s charity assured it will be will expanding its successful School Service which aims to teach thousands of pupils about various forms of abuse.
The NSPCC service centre, on Park Road South, will shut on Friday after a national review of the number of bases the charity needs.
The support centre underwent a £300,000 revamp in 2012.
