Nottinghamshire one of the worst places for people being caught with knives
Nottinghamshire is one of the worst places in England for people being caught with knives.
According to new figures from the Home Office, people in Nottinghamshire were either convicted or cautioned for carrying knives 443 times between July 2015 and June 2016.
The county had the fifth highest knife possession rate in England and Wales last year – an eight percent increase on the total of 409 in the same period the year before.
