Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue called to hay fire in Farndon
 

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue were called to a hay fire in Farndon in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A call was received at 03:24am to a 50 tonne hay stack fire in Thorpe Lane in the village.
Two appliances were mobilised and remain at the scene where hoses are still in use and dampening down is still in progress.

The incident follows a spate of agricultural fires in villages in North Notthingshire in recent weeks.
