Nottingham prepares to welcome the 41st Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival



When it opens to the public today, the 41st Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival will have 1,273 types of beers, 233 varieties of cider and 32 perries as well as fruit wine for drinkers to savour.
With beverages from local breweries including Brewdog, Castle Rock, Blue Monkey and Flipside, the festival is expecting to sell 120,000 pints of beer this year.
"The variety is staggering," said Steve Westby, chairman of the Nottingham branch of CAMRA and head organiser of the festival.
