Nottingham Forest owner Fawaz Al Hasawi negotiating club sale... but targets £1million in wages!



Nottingham Forest owner Fawaz Al Hasawi is asking potential buyers to agree to terms enabling him to potentially claim a yearly wage topping £1million —nearly double the average salary of the club’s players.
Al Hasawi has been trying to sell the club for some time and is in negotiations with an American consortium, but is looking to retain 20 per cent and stay on as chairman.
The Kuwaiti also wants to be paid £480,000 annually, but that figure would rise to £1.08m in the event of promotion to the Premier League, as reported by The Guardian.
