Northumberland road set to close for fatal accident investigation
 

Drivers have been warned of a road closure at site of a fatal accident in Northumberland .
The man — named locally as John Paul Currie, a 35-year-old father-of-two from Berwick — died when his car collided with the combine harvester on the A1167 near Scremerston just before 7.30pm on Friday, September 23.
Emergency services, including three fire engines and two ambulances, attended the crash, but Mr Currie sadly died at the scene.
Police will be shutting the road during rush hour on Wednesday October 19, with a diversion expected to be in place for about three hours.
