North Korean speed skater crashes TWICE as rivals South Korea storm to victory
 

16-year-old Jong Kwang Bom was competing in the qualifying rounds of the men's 500m skating in Pyeongchang this morning.
In the clip, you see the moment the teenager, sporting red, face-planted the ice after putting a foot wrong at the start of the race.
The event was restarted and the athletes lined up to compete again.
Then bizarrely, Bom appeared to go on an all out pursuit of his Japanese opponent – Keita Watanabe.
Brushing shoulders with the other skater, he eventually lost his balance, before sliding across the track.
