No-one will face any charges over alleged money-laundering scam which saw Paul Massey arrested



No-one is to be charged following a five-year investigation into alleged money-laundering in Salford ’s underworld.
Greater Manchester Police prepared a detailed file of evidence but the Crown Prosecution Service ruled there was ‘no realistic prospect of a successful prosecution’, and the case has been dropped.
Among those who had been arrested as part of the probe was Salford ‘Mr Big’ Paul Massey , who died when he was shot five times by a sub-machine gun outside his home in Clifton at 7.28pm on Sunday July 26.
