No full access to EU single market without free movement, warns Angela Merkel



German chancellor Angela Merkel has warned Britain there can be no full access to the EU single market without free movement of workers,
With Prime Minister Theresa May insisting Brexit will see the return of immigration controls, Mrs Merkel's comments show London and Berlin at odds ahead of next spring's start to "divorce" negotiations with the EU.
