Nine-year-old persuades dad to spend 4,200gns on shearling at NSA's 2017 main ram sale



A nine-year-old sheep breeder from the Conwy Valley mixed it with the big boys of the sheep world at this year’s NSA Wales & Borders main ram sale on the Royal Welsh showground.
Young Aron Hedd Jones fielded a ram lamb first prize winner in the Blue Faced Leicester (BFL) section before persuading his dad Aled to spend 4,200gns on a yearling.
Bred by W & C Ingram of Logie Durno, Aberdeen, the yearling duly headed to the family’s farm at Meddiant Isa, Tal Y Cafn.
