'Nightmare' A55 cafe sign row has now been resolved



A ‘nightmare’ A55 cafe row has been resolved after planners gave the owner the go-ahead to relocate his sign.
Puffin Cafe re-opened at its site close to Penmaenmawr in June after closing 18 months earlier.
But an attempt to erect a new totem pole sign to pre-warn drivers that there is a cafe at the junction was snubbed by planners at Conwy council, who said it was “unduly prominent”.
They said it would harm views into Snowdonia National Park.
