Nigeria: Released Chibok girls face ‘stigma’



NIGERIA is negotiating the release of a further 83 schoolgirls kidnapped by Boko Haram, having secured the release of 21 last week, according to local Chibok official Pogu Bitrus.
But he warned that those released might need to be educated abroad — because of the “stigma” attached to them following their abduction.
And “more than 100” girls still in the Islamist terror group’s clutches “appear unwilling” to leave, he cautioned.
