Nigel Pearson: Former Aston Villa manager candidate on the brink of losing his job at Derby County



The man who led the running to be Aston Villa boss for most of the summer is reportedly on the brink of the sack.
Nigel Pearson could have been in charge at Villa Park had former chairman Steve Hollis had his way in the process to replace Remi Garde.
Instead Pearson joined Derby and Villa’s new regime landed Roberto Di Matteo.

However, the former Leicester boss has now been suspended, according to The Sun.
They claim club owner told Pearson to leave the team hotel hours before tonight’s match at Cardiff.
