NFU Cymru plans restructure to become 'Brexit-ready'

NFU Cymru has announced a major restructure to ensure it is ready for the challenges posed by Brexit.
The union is to strengthen its policy department by appointing new policy advisers at its Builth Wells head office in Powys .
It is also planning to create a series of new county adviser roles across Wales.
The union’s communications department will also be enlarged to boost the promotion of Welsh food and farming to stakeholders and the public.
NFU Cymru director John Mercer said said the restructuring will place the union on the “front foot” when it comes to tackling Brexit.
