Newsagents closed over claims girls as young as 12 offered alcohol for sex
 

A city centre newsagents was closed down over allegations girls as young as 12 were plied with alcohol in exchange for sex.
The Ten to Ten store, in Hardman Street, was ordered to shut for three months by a judge at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court today.
Owner Ushan Wewawala sobbed after the closure order, which his solicitor Gary Bryan claimed would “finish his business”, was granted following an application by Merseyside Police.
