Newcastle Council needs to save £30m - using this tool let them know where YOU would make the cuts



How would you make £30m of cuts to balance Newcastle City Council’s budget?
On Wednesday the council announced it will trim £30m in 2017/18, meaning the authority will have cut £251m from its budget since 2010.
No details have been released about how the city will tighten its belt and it has made no announcements about any job losses.
The council says a draft budget is being drawn up, which will go out to consultation on Wednesday, October 12.
