Newcastle conwoman who tricked and threatened landlords has jail term slashed
 

A fraudster who posed as a glamorous wealthy woman to rent high-end properties has had her jail term slashed.
Lynn Harrison falsely claimed to be a barrister, an economist and a doctor when renting luxury homes across Northumberland, Cumbria and North Yorkshire.
She used fake names such as ‘Onassis’ and ‘Rothschild’, and refused to pay rent once she moved in - changing locks to keep landlords out.
Homeowners had to take the pair to court to have them evicted, and Harrison threatened to ‘hunt down’ one landlord - telling the doctor she would get him struck off and making menacing remarks... read more
