New service could reduce the number of women having a caesarean sections in Hull



A new service is being rolled out in Hull which could help reduce the number of women having a caesarean section birth.
The number of women having a caesarean section in at Hull Women and Children's Hospital is currently slightly above the 12 per cent national average at 14 per cent.
The new programme is aimed at women who have already had previous caesarean sections who will be offered support from a new midwifery-led service to prepare for their next babies.
