New safeguards to protect staff from sleaze at Westminster
 

Party leaders have agreed to make it easier to report inappropriate behaviour in Parliament. 
The Prime Minister said party leaders agreed at a meeting to introduce a new grievance procedure and upgrade an existing complaints hotline to a face-to-face human resources service.
It comes as Westminster continues to be plagued by allegations of sleaze and harassment, often towards junior staff.
The face-to-face reporting service will be introduced by the end of the month and the new grievance procedure should be in place in next year, Mrs May told reporters.
