New hope of finding missing Ben Needham after unearthed fabric 'interests' police



The start of an exhaustive search for missing toddler Ben Needham has sparked new hope after police said they had found items of “slight interest”.
Detective Inspector Jon Cousins said they were “ahead of schedule” in the investigation into the disappearance after a major dig in the Greek island of Kos began yesterday.
DI Cousins said he was pleased with the progress of the search and revealed hundreds of bone fragments had been found in the past 24 hours – but all of them were animal bones.
