New glasses treatment to treat patients with dyslexia
 

The 18-month study suggests dyslexia is in part caused by mismatched eye muscles, not a problem solely in the brain, as is traditionally believed. 
By using specially designed corrective glasses, researchers from the independent optometrist group SchoolVision UK found that pupils identified as dyslexic could double their reading speed.
